There was a Thomas BECKWITH giving an oath in relation to his tenancy with others in 1535 on lands at Aldburgh lordship of Sir Christopher Danby who in turn has it of free tenancy from Fountains Abbey. Christopher BECKWITH is also included.
Richard BECKWITH is mentioned as the baliff of ALDBURGH - held by annual fee of 20 shillings and who was to be granted a new lease of the lodges of NUTWITH COTE and THWAITE HOUSE in 1537.
