No not to confusing.
I did have one typo error as I had Franklin & Fremont's sheets laying together next to the computer. Fremonts age was 83 at his death so the 1861 birth date would be correct. As to the SPAFFORDs I grew up in Strongsville & the Spafford name was a old name in the community with one of the best known palces in town being Spaffords beverage store.
According to the Carter Genealogy that I found Merwin's wife Lydia had 4 brothers. One being Noah Newcomb SPAFFORD that married Electa BECKWITH in 1853. From what the Beckwith notes say Merwin & Electa may have been brother & sister. And in the same note their mother being their spouses aunt or cousin.
