I have Russell as the 5th of 11 children of Jonah & Hannah Deming. Have his birth listed as abt 1798 in Medina, Ohio. He married Betsey Tyron Bushnell on Jan 19 1819 in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Have 4 children listed
Dewitt Beckwith b. 1825 in Ohio
Marion Beckwith b. 1829 in Ohio
Byron DeLa Beckwith b. 1839 in Ohio d. 1904 California
Charles John Beckwith b. 1841 in Ohio

The only other info I have is that Byron's grandson Byron De La Beckwith was the one who made the news for the murder some 30+ years ago in the south.
