Foster son of Alexander Beckwith and adopted by Nelson Beckwith(1806) son of (Rueben(1762), Asa(abt.1734), Joseph, Nathaniel(abt. 1640), Matthew(1610) of Lyme, Conn. Nelson and wife Comfort Nancy Keyes had children Elenor and Nathan Alanson. Resided in Oceana Co., MI.
