Hi, Karen. It's been some time since we've communicated. I have been in phone contact with several descendants of Ben and Rachel Beckner. Most of this line lived/live in Cleburne, Johnson Co., Tx. Ben is burried at Mansfield, Texas. He d. in 1876. One of his sons, Henry led the family further west after the Civil War. Henry was w/ the 19th Texas (unmounted ) Cavalry. I have him in a confederate reunion photo. There is a pic of Ben's tombstone if you go to Find-A-Grave. I couldn't get the pic to transfer to my family tree at Ancestor.com. I've been to Rachel's grave and plan on visiting Ben's. I think this couple came to Scurry or Mesquite, Tx. with the Terry wagontrain from Mo. There are several Terry's in the Amy Frost Cem.
