Daniel Beckley (died 1843-Wayne Co., OH) left a will in which he named his children: SARAH BECKLEY (b.ca 1801), married Henry Kaufman (some of their descendants ended up in Whitley Co, IN); EDWARD BECKLEY (1810-1902), my ancestor; CATHERINE BECKLEY (1812-1893), married Henry Emery (some of their descendants ended up in Whitley Co, IN); THOMAS BECKLEY; JAMES BECKLEY; DANIEL BECKLEY; and CONRAD BECKLEY. I know nothing of the latter four sons. Could James be the father of your great-grandfather, Daniel Beckley?

Edward states on the 1880 census that his father was from Ireland.
