I've seen referenced in internet circles a man by name of Roger D'Ivery, Lord of Beckley, supposedly the ancestor of the Beckley family , his name tossed around as if his history was common knowledge. A recent attempt on various search engines has only yielded a reference to him in a description of the history of Asthall in England "held of the King by Roger D'Ivery".
Can anyone shed any light on this gentleman. Thanks, Mike at msb@core.com
