Jonathan Beckley married Sally Reed in Litchfield County, Ct in 1804. It is thought, but uncertain that she was a sister to Polly Reed who married Jonathan's older brother David Beckley. Polly's parents were apparently Elias and Ruth Coit Reed.
Jonathan's bride Sally Reed died in 1806. Sometime between then and 1812 he married again, to a Sally Collins who was born sometime around 1790 in Connecticut. I'm posting, hoping that someone might know of a connection between the two wives of Jonathan Beckley, perhaps cousins or something? Obviously Sally Collins is a brickwall in my family tree.
