There's an enormous listing of Beckleys in Families of Weathersfield, Connecticut, starting with Richard. I've transcribed most of it and will post it on the Family Maker Web Site next week. One school of thought holds that Bickley is the alternative form of Beckley. A peerage was granted Francis Bickley in 1662 by Charles II. He had made a fortune in fabrics in London and purchased Attleborough Hall in Norfolk in 1657.
