I have found an archived newspaper biography of Jonathon's son H. Nelson Beckley indicating they migrated from Ct. in 1814 to Southwest Athens County. I'm searching for a listing of Jonathon's Ohio born children. Ohio census records don't itemize children's names prior to 1850. Unfortunately, Jonathon died in 1846. I have found my great-great granfather listed in the 1850 Ohio census for Athens County, showing a sixty year old Sarah Beckley(Jonathon's wife was Sally Collins) living next door. I'd like stronger proof of their relationship as son & mother, so I could, with complete certainity, claim this bloodline.Any insight from old "letters back home" to Connecticut or other sources is appreciated!
