Mt. Pleasant - Mrs. Neva May King Beckum, 54, died Thursday after suffering a heart attack at her home in the Mt. Joy Community.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home, Rev Frank Blain, pastor of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in the Baily Cemetery.
A native of Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Arglas and Pearl Kennedy King and was a member of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Alman Beckum, one son, Bobby Ray Beckum and one daughter, Mrs. Wilma May Bailey; seer brothers, William, Claude and Donald King, all Hampshire, and Carl, Clifford, Ernest and Lawrence King, all of Mt. Joy; and one sister, Mrs. J.E. Lane of Mt. Pleasant.
Active pallbearers were Glenn Duncan, Poplin Turner, Hazel Attkisson, Willard Grimes, Oliver Vandeiver, Raymond McClain, Joe E. Johnson, B.B. Jones, Henry Bassham and Geroge Shaw.
