John Beckford War of 1812 soldier
Hello Gang,
I went through some of my files and didn't come up with a Thomas or Francis Beckford, but did find a John Beckford within the War of 1812 files I have.

Time in service said 9 days so he probably had some days off during his short enlistment. His wages were $2.40, rations and clothing were $2.70 and the total was $5.10

From experience with War of 1812 soldiers, most seem to be born in the late 1780s to the early 1790s putting them in their 20s while they served.
I hope this helps someone. I'd love to find out more about him too. Can anyone add anything here?
