William Richard Becker, b. 1867 Hessen-Nassau Prussia, son of Anton Becker II, married Theresia Sohmer b. Germany in Philadelphia, PA 1895. After the birth of their 2nd child, she died, and William, soon married another woman and moved to Detroit. My grandmother never knew that her Mom was not her birth mother until later in life. Theresia's father was Wendel Sohmer, and her sister was Sophia. We have no other info on the Sohmers. Has anyone come across this family, if so please contact me. Sherrie
