Looking for BECKERs would love to find their birthplace in Germany, but after 10 yrs, I am afraid its
hopeless!!! Heinrich Becker was born 25 Nov, 1811 in Prussia. He married Anna Sophia (HECKER) born on 23 Sept, 1825 in
Germany, Left Bremen with 2 children, Adam,
born 21 Nov, 1850 and
Maria Helena born 18 July, 1855. Ship O Thyen arrived in New Orleans on 29 Oct. 1856. They came immediately to St. Louis, settled in
Maxville, Missouri. This is now a suburb of St. Louis, MO, Their other children born here were Louisa, Stephen, Franz, Anna, and Gertrude. They belonged to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
