Albert Becker Sr.
MOREHEAD CITY - Albert "Al" John Becker Sr., 74, of Morehead City, died Nov. 19, 2007, at Carteret General Hospital. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. He served as usher at Saint Francis Catholic Church in Lodi, N.J., for 25 years and Saint Egbert Catholic Church in Morehead City for 20 years. He also served as chaplain of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Saddle-brook, N.J.
Survivors include his wife, Lee Becker; daughter, Kathleen Bocker of Newport; sons, Albert John Becker Jr. of Havelock and Bruce Becker of Stafford, Va.; brother, Richard Becker of Virginia Beac, Va.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
