Hi Marcy,
I'm hoping to find more information on Becker's in my lineage. Prior to living in USA, there were thought to be from Alsace Lorraine region - listed sometimes as Baden, others as simply Germany. I have a Henry Becker b. March 1831, came to USA in 1849. Married to a Katrina or Catherine b.1833 from Bavaria. They lived in NY. Later in life after Katrina passed, son Henry and son Jacob moved to Wyoming and owned farmland in Bighorn. Henry and Katrina had six children. Catherine b.1855,, Henry b.1859, Jacob b.1861, Magdelena(Lena) b.1867, Mary b.1866. and Teresa b.1869. I also have a Catherine Becker b.1806, possibly Henry's mother living with his family in 1870 census. Any additional information would be appreciated!
