I realize that this posting is four plus years from your original message (assuming it was the original reply), so I'm not sure it will even be seen, but I did want to try to contact you. I am a Becker decendant and enjoy genealogy. Much of what I know is owed to the research of Alfred L. Becker. His early research was terrific. For decades my part of the family tried to trace directly to Alfred (mostly because he wrote so much and they guessed he was their ancestor). It has since been fixed. My grandmother was Audrey Becker and her line goes Elmer Julian/Frazier/Storm/John/Storm S./Storm/Storm/Johannes/Johan Jeuriaenszen/Jurrian. Anyway, I have the text of a letter from Alfred to Rev. Edwin Hoffman written September 27th, 1897. My guess is that you already have this, but if your don't, I can e-mail it to you. Warmest regards,
