I am looking for information on Amos Becker or Baker. He was married to Sarah S. Brubaker who was born abt 1843 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Amos and Sarah had 6 daughters Fannie b abt 1864, Annie b abt 1868, Malinda b abt 1870, Mary b abt 1874, Amanda b abt 1875 and my gg grandmother Amy b Aug 6, 1878 in Paris, Illinois.
Amos died betwen 1878 and 1879 and Sarah moved back to Lancaster to live with her father Abraham Brubaker. Sarah was listed as a widow in the 1880 Lancaster County Census. Several family members say that Amos was killed in Arizona and possibly buried on Boothill, but have seen no proof of this.
If any one has information on a Amos Becker who may have been born in Pennsylvania or Illinois I would appreciate any help.
