Ft. Wayne, IN, Iowa, and Nebraska Beckers

My great great grandfather was Heinrich Hans Becker, son of Michael and Catharina Becker. He was born February 1, 1843 in Vockerode, Eschwege, Hesse-Nassua, Preusse. He came on the Oregon in the late 1840s with his mother and father and sister older sister Mary, and grandfather Heinrich. They were indentured servants in New York City before going to Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Heinrich served in the Union army, possibly the 18, 22, or 23 Indiana regiment. He fought at the Battle of Pea Ridge, in Arkansas. He married Sophia Heinen of Ft.Wayne, Indiana. She too was born in Gerrmany. His family was Jewish and she was Luthern, so he was excommunicated from the family after the marriage. He attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, and then went to Benton County, Iowa probably in the early 1870s. He had 5 children. He and his family moved to London, Arkansas in the 1890s. His oldest son, Henry, moved to Omaha, Nebraska with his wife, Nellie, and two children, Harold and Elizabeth. Contact was lost with his family after a tornado came through in 1913 killing many. If anyone knows any information in regards to possible family members of Ft. Wayne or Nebraska, I would appreciate any information.
