Are certain that Albin was his christened name? My family traces back through St. Helena, about ten miles from Wynot, and nearly every member of my grandfather's generation was better known by a nickname than by his Christian name. I have an extensive list of names for the Beckers around the St. Helena/Bow Valley/Wynot parishes, but I can't find any Albins--when did he live?
