I just looked up some Titanic passenger lists..the Beckers were shown in 2nd class lists, Mrs. Becker, Ruth, age 12, Richard, a small child and Marion, a female age 1, were aboard. Mr. Becker, was not aboard as he stayed behind in India as a missionary. His name is shown as Olaus A. Becker.
The family traveled on to Michigan and Mr. Becker joined them a year later. You may find more about Ruth by going to search engines, and perhaps this will give you more clues.
