My original Becker family was from Wuertemberg (not sure of spelling). Forest, also known as Johann and his wife, Maria Catherina, also called Margaret, were my ggrparents. He died abt 1846 or so, and they lost a son soon after. Maria Catherina came to the US thru Albany, NY, along with her son, Johann Peter Becker. He was 25 , she was abt 58, arrived June 1853 and travelled to Noble Co. IN within 10 days. I think they had relatives in IN that they lived with initially.I don't have any info on family who might have remained in Germany. Let me know if a possible connection. Thanks
