I am trying to locate the parents of Mary Anna ' Marie or Maria ' Becker. Mary Anna Becker was born about 1869. I was able to find out that she was from Burlington, Iowa and her parents were from Germany. She was married in California to John Henry Reese. Her mothers maiden may have been Fenster but not sure.
Carsten John Reese, born on 24 September 1892 in Rutherford, Napa County, California and is the son of Mary Anna Becker and John H. Reese. His father was John Henry Reese, age 26 from Denmark and his mother was Mary Anna Becker, age 24 from Burlington, Iowa. I checked the marriage index in the Napa County Library and found the following.
John H. Reese, age 24 of Germany, married Mary Becker, age 23 of Iowa, on 23 December 1891 near St. Helena. Witnesses were Ike Herold and Terresia Kennelly. The parents of both were from Germany.
Any information about this Becker Family from Iowa would be much appreciated.
