WOW! What great information! I only had about 1% of this. Thank you so much. Nora Riley (a daughter of John Alexander Riley) was my maternal grandmother. My cousin says she remembers Gussie Riley. She was John Alexander Riley's 2nd wife. I called when I saw mulatto (and black on the death info). The cousin says she was definitely white. She was from New York and we wonder how she got to Louisiana to marry John Alexander -- one of those questions we'll have to wait to have answered! Do you want any information in the generations since these? I would like to send some, only if you are interested. You have really filled in some of the blanks for me.
