Hi Randall, Do you have information on Miriam Beck ?I am trying to find out everything I can about her,but so far I don't have much.10 years ago I lived in Rome,GA and there is a statue of Nathan Bedford Forrest at the entrance to Myrtle Hill cemetery.He prevented Sherman from burning Rome as he made his way to burn Atlanta,I can send you a scanned picture of the statue if you like.It is a nice large one.Myrtle Hill was a hill in Rome where Nathan and his troups fought from,now it is a cemetery.
