Some time ago I posted my research regarding Jesse's wife Sarah being a daughter of Thomas Moon. Since that time, Moon cousin Karen Dale has continued her outstanding work on the Moons with some pretty exciting results just fairly recently.
Using traditional methods--like finding some "lost" documents--and also through the new insights coming from DNA projects,. Karen has been able to connect to John Moon in Chatham County, NC, and more than that, to the Moons who were in early Bucks County, Pa. She also finds John's wife to be Mary Farmer, which is another family line for us. This is all recent so it's pretty exciting stuff to me. Karen and I have also been comparing various records that show the Becks, Moons, Sittons, Hobsons, McMasters, Watts, etc., all knew one another, which isn't surprising since the Beck and Moon land was near the other, just across the county line. Still, having family and related families as witnesses for one another's various official records is the proof we really wanted..
