My Bechard database shows Joseph Bechard b.about 1846, m. Adeline Bouchard, June 6, 1882 in Napierville, Quebec, Canada (near Montreal). My file lists only one child, Thomas Bechard, with no birth date, but likely after 1882.

While the names seem close, Kamouraska is a good distance north of Quebec City, making neither the dates nor the locale match. Odds are this is not your connection. How good is your source on marriage date?
