Becerril Family Genealogy Forum
that name sounds familiar. My, dad, Antonio Torres Becerril, had several brothers who were much older than he was. The one I know best was Rodolfo;but there were also Delegario, Antonino, Alberto, and maybe a Adolfo. They all lived in Mexico City at one time or another, but they all were originally from a little village in Michoacan, called Aporo (accented on the "A"), near Zitacuaro and Ciudad Hidalgo. Rodolfo died about 7 yrs ago in Mexico City; my dad died 8 yrs ago in Sacramento, CA (He left mexico as a teenager during the early yrs of WWII to work on the railroad); Antonino, the oldest brother, died at least 30yrs ago in Zitacuaro; Alberto died in Monterrey, Mexico about 20 yrs ago; and I don't know anything about Delegario, or Adolfo. There's a ton of Becerrils in that little village of Aporo. Our particular clan is centered in Sacramento--8 kids, 16 grandchildren, and many greatgrandchildren and many more to come.
The Becerril name is Spanish and is probably related to a small town in the mountain outside Madrid called "Becerril de la Sierra". There's even a Coat of Arms--Our family has a replica somewhere in Sacramento, given to us by my Uncle Rodolfo. db
