I've been trying to follow my adopted gggrandfather back. The daughter, Mary Martel, of his father married a Charles C. Bebout (1879 in PA) in Allegheny Co. PA ~1901. They had 3 children ( William F.1902, Florence 1905, and Elizabeth 1907). Mary dies after the birth of Elizabeth and before the 1910 census. After the 1910 census I can find no-one but William in the 1930 census living in Akron Ohio he is married to a Mildred and has 2 children Doretha 1926 and Robert 1927. Charles C parents names were William (Feb 1851) and Elizabeth (May 1848). Charles worked as a conductor of a short car. None of the Bebouts are buried in Allegheny, PA even Mary. The first names used seem to match up hope other things do too. Peggy
