David, out side of sharing dates, this is about all that I can do on this line.I have placed several Sligers in my computer file in order to keep some of them straight as they are a large family.I would have to search my paper file to see if I have parents for Fannie.I will have to check the Sliger board as it seems that I have asked that question there. It seems that these two went west, maybe to CA.
On the Beaver side I discovered lately over the internet (RootsWeb) that William was the father of Rev. David Beaver. If you read my post just below our exchanges you will see that I am concerned about that "assumption".I will leave David's father as unknown until I see a source.William may very well be true so you can list him as you wish but be carefull with what you see over these family trees on the internet.People are linking families through "merging gedcoms" and when two different people with the same or similar names merge then the file becomes corrupted and false info begans getting shared as one begins to add their ancestors. You could be correct in Sam's middle name but get it verified some how as he may be mixed with his uncle and dates don't mean much at this time.At the moment I am researching three problem ancestors that don't jive just right with the internet.
I started honking horns because of what happened with my Conrad Keicher, SR.People merged instead of typing in the info and from the 10 children that I listed for him he now has over the internet increased his children to fifteen because the merging of Conrad Junior's children. Two of Junior's children were born after Senior died. Now we have a chain of problems and no way to correct them!
I will look for Fannie when I get a chance but you will soon hook up to John Schleicher from Germany, about 5 more generations.I am also a Sliger on my Kyker side.
