I found a lot of Beaver family in Ringgold Co. Iowa. The following people received land patents in Ringgold Co., Iowa about 1855 - 1858:
Michael Beaver,Jr., Alexander Bever, Isaac Bever (son of William), Samuel Bever, William Bever, Harry Curtis, Martha Zumwalt, James Cain, Stephen Herriman.

Michael Beaver, Jr stayed, but William returned to Illinois. I'm not sure about the rest of them.

Zumwalt is a family name, but Margaret was the mother's name, and she didn't die until 1871. Could Martha Zumwalt be a widow Zumwalt, or is this the mother? The Beavers married into the Curtis, Herriman and Cain families. They all bought land at the same time, so they came as a group.
