He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Beaver of Murray. For many years he resided with his parents at Murray and was employed by the old Northern Anthracite Coal Company (the Murray Mines). For some years he had been retired. Surviving are four brothers, William and Theodore of Mildred, Reuben of Elmira and Paul of Nordmont; five sisters, Mrs. Nellie Coolbaugh of Duryea, Mrs. Edward Carman and Mrs. Helen LaRue of Erie, Mrs. Carl Sherman of Towanda and Mrs. Laura Cosa of Brooklyn, N.Y. Funeral service will be held at the Holcombe Funeral Home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Charles A. Souders will officiate and burial will be in Trinity Lutheran cemetery, Mildred.
