hello john
i am researching my family who are definitely from little cheverell
yesterday i found my first reference to another village which was the marriage of CHRISTOPHER BEAVEN to JANE GIBBS, both of IMBER, April 7th 1747 in LITTLE CHEVERELL
there are lots of beavens, sometimes biffin, spread through the records from that point on.
my grandfather FRANK was a farmer/smallholder in the village, my father HAROLD was the youngest of four, then there's me MICHAEL and my sister JOYCE. i have two children PAUL and SARAH. Paul has a son, WILLIAM,who is eight months old.
so there' a quick five generations for you!
i do recognise the names you have mentioned and will have to dig out my records
mike beaven, westbury, wiltshire, england
