Where did my New Zealand Beaumonts come from

Arthur Beaumont b.1872 d.1956 (Christchurch New Zealand) is/was my great grandfather.

My late mother once told me that the family originally came from England but all that I know about my great great grandfather is that his name was Abraham Beaumont and he married Hannah Revell.

Does anybody know where my Abraham Beaumont fits in?
