I am a descendant of two 17th century English immigrants, Mayflower Passenger Richard More (1620) and Rev. William Skepper (1639), who had proven royal ancestry and were both descendants of Robert de Beaumont and Elizabeth (Isabel) de Vermandois. Robert being a famous commander at the 1066 Battle of Hastings and his wife being a descendant of ancient French royalty and of Charlemagne, King of the Franks.
