I am descended from Edward Beaumont of Mirfield who married Elizabeth Hopton.
I realise the Beaumonts had been at Mirfield for many years but cannot correctly identify Edward's parents - history's on the web seem to miss out a generation or two.
Past correspondents on this family no longer have the same E-mail addresses!
