I was wondering if any descendants of Francois Itagisse a member of the Saulteaux band of the Chippewa Tribe was enrolled with any band of the Chippewa Tribe either in Michigan or up in Canada. Francois Itagisse was born abt 1730 in her peoples homeland. She married Jean-Baptiste Brillant 6 Jul 1752 in Mackinac Island, Michigan. She passed into the spirit world in Aug of 1781 in Detroit, Michigan. Also any other info. on her and her family would be appreciated.
