Thank you Becca for the information, I have been researching this woman who is my 3rd great grandmother Ogemageeshig had a daughter named catherine Beaulieu who married Robert Fairbanks. They had a daughter named Sophie Fairbanks and she had a son named Paul who is my grandfather. I have had arguments as to the false claims that Ogemageeshigs father was a Bessener and that her real Father was not Apishgagauge/ White Raven. Ogemahgeeshig was baptized and Margariuette Racine was her baptismal name. The reason the descrepancy was because of land and money there has to be somone who knnows the real story to why they did not want to be connected to Apishgaugauge/white Raven. There was so much land theft and treaty lies and bullcrap going on back then I have read part of the grahm report and the linnen Moorehead reports and the Charles Wright pettition and many of the full bloods were cheated out of theyre land. Benjamin L Fairbanks was one of these crooks so was Gus Beaulieu, along with George Morrison his Auncle William Morrison was a crook too. they took from theyre own family and alot of others and that is why to this day no one wants to admitt that Ogemageeshig was a full blood theyt want to disgrace her name out of anger because she was connected to the Beaulieus. There is alot more to this story and alot of families are involved back then it was a free for all. and it was easy to lie and cheat especialy if it had to do with taking away land from the ojibway. So this is what i would like to know where is the government documentation on White raven he signed the treatys and she is on the treaty too then why is there a big secret, Government coverup I suppose, any time you ask for information its like pulling teeth. I wanted to find out how Bazile hudon dit Beaulieu died I knkow he died in 1838 Wisconsin. I would like to know if there is any pictures of Ogemageeshigoqua anywhere. Another person I am researching is the Brunette Jospeph his father is Francois, and his father is Jean Baptiste Brunette a mixed blood if you have any clue as to where Ogeemageeshig was baptized at please let me know, Thanks again
