For what it's worth, I have this information on the brothers and sisters of my Ferdinand Beaulieu (courtesy of Chris Kowal):
Children of FIRMIN BEAULIEU and ANGELE DUMONT are:
1 i. FERDINAND BEAULIEU, married ARTHEMISE BERNIER January 13, 1863 in NOTRE DAME DU LAC,QUEBEC,CANADA.
ii. ROSE BEAULIEU
iii. JOACHIM BEAULIEU
iv. THEODORE BEAULIEU
v. ANGELE BEAULIEU
I don't know if it's helpful at all, but in case you had found any census records (assuming there even were any before 1881), perhaps you could match up brothers and sisters.
Here's some more confusion to add to the fire:There are two tombstones in St. Joseph's cemetary in Old Town with this information:
Hanora Beaulieu, age 4m, died 19 Jan 1890, daughter of Fred Beaulieu & Victoria Sirois.
Eléonore Beaulieu, age 16, died 26 Feb 1881, daughter of Fred & Victoria Sirois.
One of the witnesses on the death certificate of Ferdinand Beaulieu (husband of Léontine Soucy) was Théophile Sirois. There's a man by that name listed as the husband of Georgiana Gagnon on her tombstone. He was born around 1847, married Georgiana 02 AUG 1868 in Old Town, died 27 JAN 1899.Perhaps a relative of Victoria Sirois?
Could there possibly be three different Fred Beaulieu's living in Old Town at the same time?
