Would appreciate info on my great-great grandmother Josephine Beaulieu b. 1810 in Canada, married voyageur Joseph Rondeau at Ft. Garry 1827. She was evidently French and Kootenai. They lived in Red River Colony, then moved to Ft. Snelling area in Minnesota, settled St. Paul, Minn. as original founders of city. At least nine children: Louis Alexis, Benjamin, Mary Ann (my great grandmother, m. Norbert Barrette in Crookston, Minn.), Eugene (m. Julie Gervais 1865), Philomon, Julie, Joseph, Josephine, Pierre. Know nothing about her ancestors.
