According to my records : Nicholas Hudon dit
Beaulieu and his brother Joseph are listed on a Quebec government document as American sympathizers during the American Revolution.
For this the British deprived Nicolas his rank of ensign in the Riviere Ouelle militia.
Likewise his brother Joseph lost his position of lieutenant for having served the rebels. Nicolas married Madeleine Miville dit Deshesne 10 Jan. 1757 at Riviere Ouelle. Would this be about the time period you were looking for.
