Thank you for your response in regard to our elusive Beaudry sisters and their mates. We suspect that they were very most likely to be brothers marrying sisters. At Hull, we viewed the actual church documents, but there are no parents listed, just witnesses, most likely from the church. It seems, that back then, there were men in the congregation that witnessed marriages, deaths, and births, since you see the same names over and over again. When we went to the archives in Hull, where the marriage files were located, the archives closed at 4:30 pm and we didn't have enough time to actually copy the words, although we wrote down word for word. They listed the Venasse/Rosalie couple to be from Kemptville and the Antoine/Henriette couple to be from Rigaud. All settled near the Kemptville area, and raised big families. Antoine had a farm near North Gower and Venasse moved around the area a bit, working as a labourer. Antoine and Henriette had 14 children, one of which is our ggrandfather, Pier Dinis. Venasse had at least 10 children also. We believe that both families were from the Montreal area, but how can we locate the right area and church?
Thanks again, for your help.
