New Jersey Beaudrys in 1840s?

My grandmother's grandfather, Thomas Curran, was born in Ireland, either in 1821 or in 1822 and shipped to America from County Down. He married Mary L. Beaudry in New Jersey before settling in Washington County, Iowa. He fought in the American Civil War; was wounded at Shiloh. Mary and Thomas had several girls and one son. Thomas was a stonemason. I am looking for Curran and Beaudry researchers in County Down and
the New Jersey area respectively. From family names Mary's middle name was probably Louisa.
