Beaudry Family Genealogy Forum

Aloha again Charlene, Now that I have fuller information from you I am going to make a safe guess that "your" Marcel is the same as "my" Marcel. I am swayed heavily by the names of the spouses. The names are practically identical "Mireau" and "Mirault" are close enough. I am not an expert in French but I believe the pronunciation would be the same. How about it, Des?? There is also considerable duplication in the names of their kids. Unfortunately my list of kids (from "The First 100 years, St. Rose of Lima Parish, Argyle, Minnesota, 1879-1979") doesn't include Ovila (could he have been "my" "Boville"??). A parish centennial book would not be given a high rating for reliability in the better genealogical circles. Marcel is a brother of "my" Rose Delima Beaudry, so all you need to do is substitute Marcel and his wife for John Gooler and Rose Delima in Generation IX of my wife's line in my 27 November 1998 posting and you have your line back to France. Des Beaudry, who is a frequent contributor to this family forum, sent me some corrections to the lineage in my 27 November 1998 posting but I have misplaced them. Des, if you are listening could you send us those corrections again? I don't have any siblings of Jean Baptiste Beaudry (Marcel's father). The parish centennial book does have a clear black and white photo of J-B and his wife Emilie Aumond. It also has a poor B&W photo of Marcel with his brother Amadee and another guy (they look like train robbers). If you want me to xerox them and send them to you, e-mail your snail-mail address to me. Best, jerry
