Beaudry-Blais- Papineauville 18--Long time to follow-up but made a major find at our local gen society: A book titled Les Défricheurs de la Petite-Nation 1986- ISSN-0-88662-105-4 (The first settlers of the Petite-Nation ( Montebello- Papineauville) Sponsored by the Société d'Histoire de la Petite Nation and by Société Historique Louis-Joseph Papineau CP 364 Montebello, Que. La Petite Nation, was the name of the seigneurial domain given to Joseph Papineau, father of Louis-Joseph There are 19 first settlers which were given land to clear with an annual fee to be paid to the Seigneur for his upkeep. The Papineau later build the well known "Chateau Montebello", and it is around the first settlement that the first families are described. Michel Beaudry was one of them his ancestors were 1- Toussaint-Beaudry- Barbe Barbier 2 Jacques Beaudry Marie-Angélique Archambault 3-Toussaint( Jacques) Beaudry- Elizabeth Truteau 4- MICHEL BEAUDRY- 2nd Mariage - with Rosalie Fortin(Fortier) Rigaud, Qué, 24-01-1814 7 th child of ten: Pascal- b-1829 m. Sylvie ( Sophie) Gauthier 07/01/1856, Montebello 4 th child of Pascal-Sophie; David ( Victor David Placide) b1862 m; Marie-Louise Blais 22/06/1885Montebello Those had 12 with 9 surviving 3yrs. 9 th child of Pascal-Sophie: Marie-Louise Adelie b. 1871 Montebello m.Gilbert Blais28-07 1891 Papineauvile. You have the children of Adelie and Gilbert but I dont.
