Hello again, Pat,
One very important thing I forgot to mention. Joseph Beaudet brought his family to New England somewhere around 1871/72. The family is said to be from North Adams, Massachusetts on the register that lists them for their trip to Manitoba in 1877, and Clarksburg is only a few miles from there. I think it's quite likely that Olympe went with them to Massachusetts, and married Charles Dubois there between 1871/72 and 1877 sometime.
