Hello !
Anybody knows about a BEECHAM who emigrated to Canada (province of Québec) and changed his name to BEAUCHAMP ? I found a couple JOSPEH BEAUCHAMP / GENEVIEVE PAQUET who married their son in Montréal, Québec, in 1858, but I can't go up any further. The rumor in the family is that it is an immigrant from UK who changed his name, before or after he got married. Original name may have been BEECHAM. Descendants are all French-speaking, now.
