I'm back at work on the Beauchamps -- nothing major to report, am just trying to pull it all together. BUT I think you're the one who managed to decipher the location of the house John Beauchamp (Edmund's father) inherited from his father -- looks like Sisam or some such in the original will. I once had a theory that it might have been in Sussex, explaining how John encountered Alice Freeman, but you (I think) corrected that. If so, would you kindly tell me again. I know I have it somewhere but can't find it. Thanks! Marilyn
