According to the University of Montreal's PRDH files:
Joseph Bertefeuille Bachand married Therese Vincent Chretien on November 11, 1799 at Boucherville, Quebec, Canada.Joseph is born July 2, 1776 at Boucherville.
Theresa's parents were Joseph Vincent Chretien and Marie Therese Normandin Beausoleil.
Joseph's parents were Constant Vertefeuille Bachand and Marie Josephe Blain Habelin who married January 23, 1769 at Boucherville.Constant is the son of Jean Baptiste Vertefeuille Bachand was born April 13, 1750 at Boucherville, Quebec and died January 12, 1802 and is buried the 14th at Boucherville.Marie-Joseph dies November 2, 1806 and is buried the 3rd at Boucherville.They had 6 children.
Jean Baptiste Vertefeuille Bachand was born October 15, 1701 in Boucherville and dies January 26, 1778 at Boucherville. He married Marie Suzanne Christin Stamour on February 2, 1736 at Riviere-des-Prairies, Quebec.She was the daughter of Isaac Christin Stamour and Suzanne Chartrand.They were married February 6, 1736 at Riviere-des-Prairies.They had 10 children.
The father of Jean Baptiste was Nicolas Vertefeuille Bachand who married Marie Anne Lamoureux on December 4, 1692 at Boucherville.He was the son of Nicolas Bachand and Marie Pincon of France.She was the daugher of Louis Lamoureux and Francoise Boivin.They had 6 children.
Nicolas Vertefeuille Bachand was born around 1667 in France and is considered a Pioneer Immigrant to Quebec.
