Ann,
We seem to be in agreement.I also am unsure of both an Edmond and an Edward, being children of Alice (Freeman) Beauchamp.
The 1634 Visitation of London has
1 (son) John, 2 (son) Thomas, Alice, Mary, 3 (son) Edmund, 4 Richard.
The only proven (so far) bapts. before 1634, being Alice Beauchamp 1617, (stillbirth 1630), Edward 1631, Richard 1633. The other dates are assumed, Mary maybe to fit in before the 1623 'seven grandchildren'.Even so allowing for Mary c 1623, and 'Edmond 1625 (IGI C070221 'son of John Beacham') there is quite a gap of years between 1617 and 1630.The Visitations usually place the male heirs first, so poss. Alice was the eldest child, or maybe John Beauchamp was married earlier, and married Alice Freeman ae 16 in 1617.
In George Beauchamp court cases of his father's lands, there appears to be no mention of his '1654 living brothers Edward and Richard'.Do you know what happened to them?Did they die sp?
